Popular pieces

Here are some pieces I've written for a general audience. The first batch is on sex and gender (one article is co-authored with the criminologist Callie Burt; another is a conversation with the philosopher Holly Lawford-Smith and the writer John McLaughlin). The second covers some of the thornier problems of philosophy. One article is co-authored with the philosopher Ned Hall; they all appeared in that estimable organ, the Boston Review.
